For too long, wine has been surrounded by rules, traditions, and complicated jargon. You're expected to know grapes, vintages, and tannins – otherwise, you almost feel out of place. We thought that was nonsense.
That's why we created Revolution Bastards – a modern wine brand for people who just want to drink good wine without making it a science.
The Bottle
A smarter wine bottle
We also wanted to rethink the wine bottle itself. Traditionally, a bottle of wine is expected to be consumed the same day it's opened. But in reality, that doesn't always fit into everyday life. That's why Revolution Bastards wines come in re-sealable bottles, so you can easily close them again after use. This means the wine stays fresh longer after opening, and you don't have to drink the entire bottle at once. At the same time, it contributes to less waste and a more sustainable way to enjoy wine. It's a small change that makes a big difference in practice.

At Revolution Bastards, we believe that wine is, first and foremost, social. It's not about analyzing tasting notes for minutes on end or discussing terroir. Many traditional wines are very dry and can be difficult to approach, especially for those who don't drink wine every day. We have chosen a different approach. Revolution Bastards wines have a slightly higher sugar content than many classic wines, which provides a rounder and more balanced flavor profile. The fruitiness is more pronounced, and the wine feels softer and more approachable. The result is wine that is easy to drink and perfectly suited for social moments where the taste should be pleasant and accessible rather than complicated. It's still high-quality wine – just without the classic limitations.
